How to participate

Everyone who comes to BarCampMontreal is expected to participate. Participation takes several forms; it's up to you to decide what participation means.

1. Present. If you can give a presentation -- even a lightning talk, with no prep time -- that's a great way to communicate your passion to other participants at the event.
2. Meetup. We have "birds-of-a-feather" meetings at BarCampMontreal3. Organizing a BOF or being an active part of a meeting is a great way to participate.
3. Volunteer. We need help with all the tasks necessary to get BarCampMontreal running. See BarCampMontreal3 volunteers for ways to help out.
4. Be present. You don't have be on stage or behind a desk to participate. Giving your attention and support to presenters, asking intelligent questions, and putting yourself into the event is a great way to participate.

The most important part of participation is taking ownership of BarCampMontreal. It's up to you to make sure that BCM3 is as good for you, and as good for Montreal, as you want it to be.
